Floor Operations Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated team member to welcome, assist, and exceed guest service expectations. This role focuses on guest interaction, problem-solving, and promoting both physical and digital services to enhance the shopping experience. You will be responsible for ensuring a seamless and effortless checkout, guest service, and order fulfillment experience.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with visitors in a friendly and authentic fashion
• Quickly assess guest requirements and tailor your approach to meet them
• Assist patrons by educating them about the products available and proposing solutions to meet their needs
• Ensure that scanning, bagging, and payment processing are carried out with precision and efficiency
• Make sure your work area remains organized and free of clutter
• Keep customers informed about promotions, recent arrivals, and upcoming store occasions
• Advocate for visitors to register for loyalty programs and to think about signing up for store credit cards
• Aid guests in utilizing and engaging with digital platforms, such as the store app and online services
• Process returns following store guidelines to guarantee customer satisfaction
• Optimize the procedures for order pick-up, drive-up services, and facilitating gift registry transactions
• Support in addressing guest issues and de-escalating conflicts while adhering to store policies
• Uphold regulatory compliance by ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local laws concerning regulated products
• Support overall store activities as necessary based on the business's needs

Job Requirements:

• Accurate management of cash transactions and efficient operation of the register system
• Capacity to engage in outdoor work activities under fluctuating weather conditions
• Frequently lifting and relocating merchandise weighing up to 15 lbs, with sporadic tasks that involve lifting items up to 40 lbs
• Willing to work varying hours, such as evenings, weekends, and holidays
